Weird Obstruction Marking: W Coast Portugal

I’ve come across something I don’t know on a cruise down to the Canaries and thought I might consult the collective wisdom of ybw!

Position 40*00’.207N 09*20’.052W there is an obstruction marked on my paper chart (C19) and on Navionics.

On Navionics it says “REP (1922) ED”
On C19 it says “SD REP (1985)”

Anyone have any clue? I haven’t got a 5011 onboard to look it up!

quick google suggests REP 1985 is repeat 1985 and SD could be "sounding of doubtful depth"

On that basis is earlier one ED represent "existence doubtful"
