WEEKEND WEATHER FORECAST

High pressure will be centred in the North Sea at midday on Saturday, as a weak cold front moves towards the northwest of Scotland. A brisk easterly flow over south Wales and southern England.
Plenty of sunny spells throughout the day with dry conditions in all but the far northwest of Scotland. Here there will be thicker cloud and some showery outbreaks of rain at times.
Little change into the afternoon with more sunny spells and the dry weather persisting.
Winds E-ENE 15-20kt (F5) in the south, becoming SSW 10-14kt (F3-F4) over Ireland and Scotland.

The high drifts into Scandinavia through Sunday but maintains it's influence over the British Isles. A strong SW flow through northwest Scotland.
Another fine day for most places. PLenty of sunshine, with morning mist patches soon clearing.
The exception may be ther far northwest of Scotland where increasing cloud coudl rbing some showery bursts of rain.
Winds mainly E-ENE 12-17kt (F4-F5) in the south, SW 20-28kt (F6-F7) in NW Scotland.
