WEEKEND WEATHER FORECAST
==========================
Issued: 0800 Friday 5th October 2007

SATURDAY ( see http://www2.wetter3.de/Fax/bracknell+36.gif )
High pressure centred over the south of Norway through Saturday. A ridge extends through the British Isles and Ireland. A cold front will be weakening as it moves southwards through Scotland and into the far north of Ireland during the course of the day.
Morning mist and fog patches for much of England, Wales, Ireland and the south of Scotland. These will be clearing away to leave lots of sunshine.
Thicker cloud, associated with the cold front, will be moving through Scotland bringing some outbreaks of light rain and drizzle over central areas and the western coasts. This thicker cloud will be spreading onto the coasts of Northern Ireland later. The afternoon should become sunny over the far northwest of Scotland, Shetland and Orkney.
Winds will be SE-E over most of Ireland, Wales and western England at 3-7kt (F2), but breezier over southern and southeastern areas of England at a NE’ly and becoming 8-12kt (F3-F4).

SUNDAY ( see http://www2.wetter3.de/Fax/bracknell+60.gif )
High pressure remains dominate, with quite a slack pressure flow over the UK and Ireland today. A weak front through southern Scotland, that is the remnants of the cold front.
Some mist and fog patches again over most of England, Wales, Ireland and parts of Scotland. These will be clearing away and then the day should be dry and sunny in these areas. Cloud thickening through Ireland later.
Thicker cloud again over central and southern Scotland with some spots of rain here, these fading away in the afternoon. Northern Scotland will again be dry with plenty of sunshine here.
Winds mainly SE-E 3-5kt (F2) over most places. Increasing SE 10-14kt (F3-F4) in southwest Ireland. NE 8-10kt (f3) for western Scotland, and NW 12-15kt (F4) through Orkney, Shetland and the far north of Scotland.

Thanks, again for your forecasts this season - I have found them very useful, even for this awkward corner of the Bristol Channel.
We lift-out 20 odd boats Manday afternoon and hope for light Easterlies.
