I keep my boat at Gallions Point Marina near the Thames Barrier (and have done for the past 5 months). Everyone there suffers from a marine growth on the bottom of the boat (along with the leg, props, tabs etc). At the moment, the combination of the growth on various underwater bits of the boat is taking about 10knts off the boat speed. The growth is hard, and looks remarkably like a grey and white coral. I will need to take the boat out of the water shortly to remove this stuff - anyone know what it is and what's best to apply to try and stop it re-growing (or at least slow it down!). Thanks
