......spent Thursday trying to clean under an engine after one of the old oil filters slipped and discharged its contents into the bilge.Both bilges now degreased, flushed out and looking sparkly clean.
Little electrical oil pump worked perfectly took about 5-10 mins to empty sump directly into drum.
Bought my new filters on-line £13.00 each (Mann W1140/2) via Paypal , local motor factor tried to charge £19.00 each for cash.(Fleetguard LF 3464.)
Local chandlery want £26.00 for filter with VP printed on the canister.
Def. worth shopping around.
Noticed that nearly new forward bilge pump is now not working on "auto"
