I just insured my new boat with Craftinsure.com via Website, I'm just a bit concerned that it was too easy, and not many questions asked regarding the boat.

Has anybody else used them, they didn't even ask what make the boat was!!

Am I worrying about nothing??

Hi

I have insured with craftinsure,
I spoke to one of the guys by phone first and he answered the questions i asked to my satisfaction, polite ,confident and clearly , i could have taken the insurance out over the phone but decided to do it over the internet as the end result would be the same. I havnt made any claims (touch wood) so cant say how good that side of it is.

Dave.

hi
i have insured my boat with them via the net and everything seems fine, i suspect that they are an internet arm of a well known and reputable marine insurer

Craftinsure are an underwriting agency, not an internet arm of an insurance company. Their policies are underwritten by Navigators and General (part of Zurich Financial services)

For an explanation of what this actually means click here for a previous post in Scuttlebutt
