It's getting right up my nose and no mistake!

A weekend of either too much or not wind always coming from just not quite the right direction and now I'm back slaving at the services it's bright sunshine and perfect gentle breezes all the way

And what's the forecast for next weekend? More cloud and gusts up to F freakin' 9 for crissakes!

It's an annoyance yes.
But your still alive and the sun is shining.:D

Ah yes, well indeed being still alive is a daily blessing (and source of both amazement and relief I might add)

But the sun shining I could really do without during the week 'cos it's finding it's way through the blackout curtains in our bedroom and keeping me awake all day! The "joys" of being a creature of the night I'm afraid.

Erm, do I take it now would not be a good time to update those interested, and advise that permission has been granted to make ready for a launcheon meet ?

A trip to Southwold last Monday and another to Manningtree yesterday proves the theory that we will possibly be better off as our day off is said Monday, and from what we saw at Southwold I'm glad we didn't sail that weekend

To hell with it I'm going sailing. But I'm hoping it wont be quite as bad in N wales as it is in the channel
Yeah, think I'm going too - but we probably won't get out of the river system on Saturday. Might try a hop across the bay to Walton Backwaters on Sunday.

O well I won't be missing much in the way of sailing while towing the caravan down to Cornwell to collect the youngest and all her goods from the end of her 3 years at uni.
Just hope not to have to much of a side wind.

We only took a car load down.
Now not sure if we can get it all in the car and the van!

Hope to be back on the water next weekend.

Had a good sail yest evening at burnham on "solene" , a nice 2 hrs race down river and up the roach and back .
Saw "sweet p" out there too , summer series starts in 2 wks so looking foward to that .

Excellent Nige, pleased you have made up the crew for Chris.
