It looks like the lead into August will be unsettled as will be the start of the month. It could be the wettest weather we have seen for a few months now, but don't panic, it shouldn't be a washout (famous last words eh?).

I'm hopeful of an improvement mid-August for a short time.

Sorry. My fault entirely! Have a weeks holiday booked from next weekend. After baking in the office for the last few weeks, looks like we'll be needing the oilskins and not shorts/sunhat aboard.

Expect the weather to improve markedly from the 4th!
