Hi again,
I forgot to mention earlier that the annual Perseid meteor shows peaks tonight.
If you are lucky enough to have clear skies, look into the northeast sky anytime after dark and watch for 30 minutes or so (now there is an excuse for a lie down and a glass of wine!). You should see some shooting stars, a spectacular sight if you have not seen them before.
Most favoured spots for clear skies include north Wales, northeast England and Scotland. Cloudier skies to the south, but even here the front is weak enough to allow a few clearer skies to poke through.
Keep your eyes on the satellite pictures at http://www.sat24.com/gb to spot the breaks.
Enjoy!
