Weather: New European sailing weather forecasts

Hi,

I'm delighted to announce that the Sailing Weather Information Service (SailingWeather.co.uk) has now been extended to cover sailing areas of France, Spain, Italy, the North Sea and the Baltic.

Our UK and Ireland areas have been enhanced too with updates at 6am and 6pm each day.

View all the forecasts at [urlhttp://www.weatherweb.net/swis2/forecastareas.php[/url] where I have also updated the Sailing Weekend & Week Ahead outlook video today.

Further improvements are coming soon and I hope you like them.

I'd love to hear what you think of the service and what extra you'd like to see. How about emailed forecasts, text messaging, more areas? Please email me at simon@weatherweb.net with your thoughts.

Can you elaborate on the 'Baltic forecasts don't work' please?

What area are you trying to access. Are the forecasts visible?

Note, this is a work in progress so we are working on the system all the time. For example, there is limited data showing this morning.

Fine on my iPad. Any chance you could include the Canary Islands? They are (annoyingly) just off most Atlantic weather charts.

Try now....Canary islands should be there? I know the lower charts are still too far north but these will be altered in the next couple of days.

Great work in progress...

I have 2 comments;

1. When I look at the Med area, the surface/front charts displayed is for the UK.
2. Can we get the entire Med area as far east as Turkey? I would pay for a good met service for the ionean for instance.
