weather forecasts for Brittany

I am just about to set off to cruise sothern brittany. We do not have a lap top on board but i do have a blackberry! Does anyone know of a good and easy to get weather forecast. It is nice to know if it will be sunny and also how much wind and from what direction, looking ahead for as many days as possible! Does not seem too much to ask- any avice would be most welcome

Hi and welcome. Not sure why you want a poll. We are on the west coast of France at the moment and find the French Meteo site the best

It gives a good forecast on the Cote site and wind and weather on the site I have just given you.

Not sure about the Blackberry access tho'. Good luck.

if you stay <20nm from the coast the bulletin cotier gives very good forecasts

in cases of strong winds in my opinion the bulletin tend to be a little... conservative, one may well subtract one half or one Bft notch to the forecast to get the real conditions

there is otherwise a phone number to an answering machine reading the bulletin (in french) if you need it

The newspaper France-Ouest has a pretty good weather section. Only schoolboy standard French required.
