Many weather forecast pages in web gives inaccurate information.

To get inaccurate information try any of them!!

Seriously, best bet is to have a look at both Met Office and GFS models and compare both

This summer has been a disaster for UK marine forecasters of all persuasions. Timings wrong and amplitude of events all over the place - you know they're struggling when the 24 (not 5 day) forecast reads "winds 4-5, possibly 6-7, occasionally 8"

Only direction of winds has been any where near right. No doubt the experts will say forecasting in the intersystem regions, typically LP to the north and HP to the south, is fraught! Convinced?

Land forecasts also all over the place - typical John Humphries
"weather - bit of this and that, just about anywhere!"

I have resorted to looking at the Atlantic charts (BBC has 5 days service online) and drawing my own conclusions. It's a crap summer in these latitudes - retreat and plan for next year.

My best weather indicator? - when I see Dutch sailors heading back north up the Channel early in the season, shaking their heads.
