Weather forecast Bay of Biscay Sun to Thurs next week

Offshore weather forecasts are not my forte, but been asked for weather outlook for a boat delivery from Brest to La Rochelle starting Sunday afternoon.

Any suggestions for a good simple site to get this?

Perfect thanks. Knew about xc but never heard of passageweather.com. This was ideal and got wind and pressure forecast for Bay of Biscay in a few clicks.

Appreciate the help thanks. Job done. (At least for me - looks like the delivery trip should be on for ships boy)

I found the meteo france site and I phone app pretty handy, for the same trip last year......

Knew about xc but never heard of passageweather.com. This was ideal and got wind and pressure forecast for Bay of Biscay in a few clicks.

Hope you noticed that for Biscay (and many other areas), Pasageweather offers the forecast derived from three different weather models: GFS, COAMPS and WRF (tabs near top of Biscay page). It's well worth checking out all three models. GFS, incidentally, is what you'd normally get with most grib file viewers. The Passageweather site gives some explanation of the different models.

Passageweather.com proved to be largely correct, I hear. Apparently it was downwind and kite up all the way - sounds like they did door to door in about 30 hours, which was amazing. In restaurant for early lunch on Tuesday. Looking forward to hearing the story he when gets back.
