Hi, I'm going yachting on the Cyclads (<u>1st-8th October</u>), has anyone any experiences with the weather in this part of Greece around this date??? THANKS

Like an English summer is supposed to be. The Meltemi will be well into decline if not finished altogether. Days will be shorter of course and the risk of thunderstorms a little higher. Berths much easier to get and most of the shops & tavernas still open. It is a popular time with the Brits for the school Half Term hols. allowing one last* serving of warm weather before we plunge back into the endless half darkness of a damp & chilly winter once more.
