Weather (again)

took this photo this morning in the marina:

Usually my instruments read conservatively. This was before the worst of the weather blew through the Howth/dublin area.

Dublin bay looked amazing in the late morning with spume blown across the flattened waves.

Racing cancelled, boo hoo
but having a sea view partially makes up for it.....

What do you mean "boo hoo"? Having seen your pics, I would be very pleased that racing was cancelled!

Boo hoo becuase it is great fun and all my crew enjoy the sunday morning fun.

Absolutely no criticism of the race officer who had a cancellation flag up by 08:00 (& reefed down to a smaller flag at 09:30!)

It makes you realise just how tough the round the world guys are or even the challenge business pay as you go crew battling uphill against this sort of weather. V70 or open 60 out in this?? Awesome
