Just had a look at next weekends weather forecasts.

Don't think its a good idea to go boating on either day - seem to be winds of about 30-40 m/s about.

Any 'experts' out there able to confirm?

We seem to be in a bit of a cycle and yes seems to be more wind and rain which no doubt get the usual comment from the met office.....Don't know where it came from!!!!!

40 M/S doesnt sound as bad as 90MPH /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I'll show you mine if you'll show me yours!

Okay down Cornwall.

The site I use is saying, dry, partial cloud, and 15 mph southerly.

Think I'll stick to my site.

Best forecast I can find is Bracknell for 21st showing a nasty low halfway across Atlantic but with a high between Azores and N Spain I can't see it getting too drafty in the Solent.

But this is weather so no bets..........

Who on earth takes much notice of a forecast for 9/10 days hence. I only start on Monday for the weekend ahead and don't make a firm decision until Thursday and sometinmes not even till Friday. Watch how they can change.

This was a 'forecast' found yesterday!

This is what its showing for next Thursday.

Been pushed a little further north compared to yesterday.

I have used ECMWF with great satisfaction over the years, particularly when planning a dash across Biscay or further west.
