We should soon have new waterways minister

Fresh approach ?

Just been announced that Therese Coffey is replacing Amber Rudd as Works and Pensions minister so we can look forward to a new waterways minister. Will it mean a fresh approach to EA waterways management and funding ? Not holding my breath.

Coffey also faced criticism from Suffolk residents over her support for the Government's proposal to sell off forestry and woodland in public ownership, in 2011."[24] Although Coffey voted for the bill,[25] the proposal was afterward dropped by the government.[26]
