As any fule no,Essex is full of ex bankrobbers from the smoke and girls who shop at Argos, wear white stilletos and leopard skin jackets to accessorise bling bling from Ratners.Favorite boat prob begins with an B or an S. .While in gentle Sussex chaps who boat on the Solent enjoy the company of fair maidens who reside in Royal Tunbridge Wells and help out at the WI.We in Kent are sort of in between but have aspirations.Favorite boat would begin with an F or P. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Whilst the existence of the Romford Navy is in no doubt (or should we say daht-, I submit that the nuances of Essex kultoore are being swamped with the general "Chav" culture (if thats not an oxymoron) of England in general.
That being said, having lived there for 14 years or so I did know some right "geezers" and my favourite boat does begin with an "s" (Scorpion) /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

True Essex boaters have an affinity for mud, appreciate the stark beauty of the landscape and relish the fact that a) they dont have to boat anywhere near Rochester and b) the Sussex gentry are happily cursing Raggies/Mobo's/Dinghy's/PWC's/Red Funnel ferries & the bl**dy Southampton pilot boats wakes in that aquatic version of the M25 also known as the Solent.
