My wife and I have one of the best views at the marina. Having been lucky enough to secure the slip farthest out on G dock affords us spectacular views of the river that leads to the Sound and the ocean. But, it also makes us first stop for seagulls who like to think my boat is their personal head. I've been looking for ways to prevent them from landing on my boat in the first place, so I don't have to deal with the monumental, nasty cleanup. If you have a problem with birds as much as I do, you might want to consider these options: Protecting Your Boat

Actually Lakie I don't think he is trying to sell anything, the article just lists some of the options available. For those of us who do have a seagull problem anything new that works could well be of interest, there's little more dispiriting than arriving at your boat to find it covered with bird ****.
