ways to celebrate 2012?

I shall be chipping off 2012 flakes of old varnish at 12 minutes past eight tonight. Or trying to find 2012 fleas on the cat. Or trying to etch the Olympic rings into some fine furniture out of beer glass stains. Bah humbug.

I shall succumb to popular culture and sleep through the entire opening ceremony on telly, only being nudged awake by Madame to look at the really good bits.

I'm heading off to the pub for a beer well earned after an afternoon working on (under) the boat...

On Sunday I have to share the boatyard with local triathlon. Whilst I can't really see the attraction of doing that. I have a lot more respect to these types than the crowds who sit on their bums at Sttatford....
