Waypoint Competition

Ah well Andy Coggin posted a couple of weeks ago looking for waypoints and he had loads of helpful respnses, so maybe he'll put a few of his unused ones in for the competition.

And Byron's got loads he's never been anywhere near. Supposed to have been close, but missed 'em by at least a mile I hear.

Haydn alwys makes 'em up after he's got to where he's going and Dave Steward only does Ramsgate to Calais so uses the same ones time after time, so he's probably got a lot of brand new unused ones too.

So in answer to your question, looks like you shouldn't count your chickens before the goose is cooked.

Anyway, by the time the prize is awarded, the company giving the vouchers will have probably gone bust so they'll be worthless anyway.

Had a lovely voyage planned for waypoint competition from Weymouth to Arklow.Shot a clutch plate in Falmouth, lost steering North of Lands End and melted an oil cooler pipe to port gearbox dumping oil on a hot gearbox even further North of Lands End.Ended up single engine running for Milford Haven.Left boat there for a month and used road haulage to get to Arklow.I dont think this is the sort of voyage people like to read about in a waypoint competition however I will be back and hope to take CHARYBDIS on some nice trips for next seasons waypoint !!!!
