I have a warrior 150 blue hull and it has faded very slightly. Very light white patches. I would like a good polish to bring up the blue again. Can you recommend any products. Thanks.

I did the following last week:
a) Clean hull very thoroughly using oxylic acid cleaner or similar
b) use Farecla Marine Professional surface restorer. Apply with a rotary polisher that has a sponge head. The shine at this stage was such that others had thought I had finished!
c) Use Farecla marine polish to 'seal' the finish.
It took me 2 days to complete my 20 yr old 35 footer - which now looks 'new'. Hard work but well impressed. I wished I'd done it several years ago!

I've recently been hearing very good things about A-Glaze marine. One of the boats a member on another forum posted picturs of was a blue hull, and the finish was superb. Not tried it myself yet, so this is only heresay, not a personal recommendation.

Farecla G10 then Starbright polish :D

Faecla on a damp sponge on the polisher

Polish hand applied, left to dry then buffed on with a mop on the polisher.

Cheers.

I do the full polish twice a year, once now and once at the end of the season as protection. Usually has a smarten up with just polish mid season. Not sure if I'd be so keen if it was bigger though
