Does anyone out there have experience of the quality of these small inflatatable tenders. Particularly around the lasting quality of the material. They are made from 1100 Decitex PVC - what are the lasting qualities of that.
I have a Waveline 2.9m with inflatable floor V hull. This is the 3rd year that i am using it; i have abused a lot but there appers to be no problem at all with the quality of the tender; i would recommend it.
I have a small waveline that is now about 5 or 6 years old. It has lasted well and the material seems durable enough. Never had an leaks in that time. It has had to have new floor boards but the ply slats will always soak up water over time and eventually rot. But still, it expect it to last a fair while longer yet, so its been a great value bit of kit
Thanks to all for your responses, some useful information and it seems like they offer good value and reasonable longevity. Its perhaps a balance between 5 or 6 years at £300 or 15 plus years for much more for an Avon.
We have a wetline that is 5 years old , not abused significantly, with an inflatable floor seems in excellent health and I expect it will last at least another 10 years of light use, but I may be wrong.
I looked at both, and chose the Waveline because the guarantee was 3 years against the Seago's 2 years. I have not regretted the decision as I have not had any problems so far.
