xcweather.co.uk has some. Currently 7.2 feet at buoy 62144 off Norfolk in 26 mph of wind

All suggested sites seem to use the same few buoys for data. There must be huge variations even close to these reference points-partic inshore- and I can't help but think unless there's one pretty much in your area the data is of little or misleading use(and might be why there is so little data)

Yes, but it is useful to see what is happening out in the Channel for instance.

It would be daft to assume that because you've got 15 ft waves at one place, then you'll have 15 foot waves 50 miles away. But, if the information is interpreted properly then it is all extra data to work with.

I suppose that that's why they have installed the equipment in the first place.
