Looking for a cruising boat for 6 mths each year liveabord cruising in the Med. Our recent searches have lead us to Wauquiez Hood 38 & Wauquiez Centurian 36. We are looking for information about their good points, (but more importantly) their bad points. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There was a short discussion last week on the Centurion 32 Wauquiez have made available, but probably feel none the wiser.

Sorry, cannot cast any more light than this.

Regards, Jeff.

Wauquiez themselves have a good reputation as a boat-builder. Definitely a quality make.

There is a wauquiez owners email list on sailnet. Not particularly active but I think there are a couple of Hood owners on it - you could try asking there.

Wauquiez = French Swan ! Top-class in racer-cruisers production.
I owned a Gladiateur for years and I'm still in love with her.
Thanks to my delivery-job I also sailed Centurion 42, 45 and 49.
I also made a bit of maintenance on them : Good job ! they are designed with service in mind.
Prices on French market (from private owners) : Hood 38 = 99 000 €. Centurion 36 = 109 000 €.
