The cockpit seat lids on my Hardy mobo are unlike the self draining types on a sailing yacht. They are made from the sort of doors usually used for watertight doors from the forecabin to the anchor locker or for flush fitting deck hatches - the sort with a non slip surface molded in and a recessed twist lock handle in the surface. They are now leaking and I think the thin rubberised seal that sits in the groove where the lid seats when it closes is to blame. It's white and about 3 or 4 mm wide and self adhesive. Anyone know where to get it . Standard hardware shops just seem to stock foam draughtstrip which won't do.
Apols for the convoluted explanation instead of a photo but for some reason (??snow??) I haven't gone down to the boat to take a piccy
Thanks as always
