Does anyone have any recommendations of a waterproof / splashprooof case for an ipad or ipad mini. I use mine as a chartplotter on my console attached with a padtab. But my console is directly under the end of the boom and if is there is any water in the sails when I'm raising them it ends up on the console / ipad. Ideally looking for something slender, so I can use it as a normal case as well. Would also be nice if I could charge without taking off the case.

I have an Aquapac for my iPad. It has the virtue of being fully waterproof but doesn't fulfil some of your requirements. I can operate the screen through the pack but can't charge through it or put it into sleep mode with its cover. It serves my purposes though.

Lifeproof. I've got one...get yourself down to Aldi too for some of that "plastic" Velcro, and you have a full cockpit mounted plotter.

Expensive, but worth every penny IMHO.
