Watermota Sea Panther starting info

Hi all got here a Sea Panther tat needs a fettle. Injectors sorting, fly wheel AND STARTER MOTOR, ALSO LIFT PUMP TO GET GOING....TO SEE IF ITS WORTH SETTING UP RUNNING PROPERLY TO SELL ON OR BREAK FOR Parts.

First off, just to get it fired up i can just get the 24v from two 12v batteries yes ?

And for the starter motor i can use a car X Flow starter motor ?

Sell as bits you’re too busy to spend the time on it and few persons likely to want it except as spares now although a running one might just be ok as spare

Yes

Probably but the standard starter may be a bit weedy for the diesel and might fail prematurely.

Me busy...with what, do you mean the camper van or boat or workshop or that thing called work, oh and now the garden haha

These little side lines help to earn to pay for the boat. Ill make a bit on the engine but dont like to break stuff rather fix, but if its going to be hard to sell once running then no point. mite aswell break it for parts.
