High water at Bursledon approx 16.40 tomorrow, so anyone up for up for an upper Hamble River exploration jaunt ? You will have some company, the Hamble Boys rowing team will be out along with ourselves on Kita (t/t Ocean Belle) from Foulkes from around 2-3 pm. ETA at Horse & Jockey around 4-5 PM, then back down on the ebb, back alongside for 6-7 pm.
Might even have time for a trip to see the waterfall and fairies at Botley !
Believe me for those that have never ventured beyond the M27 bridge, the Hamble becomes a completely different world on our doorstep.
