Water separator filter for 40hp outboard - Racor SNAPP or standard ?

I am fitting a new fuel line to my suzuki 40hp and will install a new pre filter assembly.

I was going to fit one of these

But am wondering whether one of these which are half the cost would be just as suitable?

I've got one of these on my MD-22, similar HP (note this is diesel):

They don't give the HP range, only the Flow Rate of 57 LPH. However the Snap quotes:

Flow Rate: Up to 100 LPH
Horsepower Range: Up to 140HP

So it should be fine for up to about 80HP.

The Suzuki filter you linked to is the same as the Racor 120R-RAC-01. Whilst the Racor Snapp filter is cheaper to buy initially, the filter elements are very expensive, so it would be cheaper long-term for you to go with the Racor 120R-RAC-01.
