WATER PROBLEM ON OUTBOARD

HI I HAVE A MERCURY 90HP 4 STROKE AND UNFORTUANTLY I THINK THE WATER PUMPS IMPELLOR IS STUCK CAN ANYBODY TELL ME HOW I CAN FREE OFF THE PUMP. BEARING IN MIND I DONT EVEN NO HOW TO GET TO IT.
ITS 4 WEEKS BEFORE I CAN GET IT LOOKED AT LOCALLY AND I HAD HOPED TO PUT THE BOAT BACK IN THE WATER THIS WEEKEND

Firstly writing in caps is deemed shouting and hacks some people off big time.
What makes you think the impeller is stuck? Is it that no water comes out of the tell tale?
The impeller is half way up the leg and sits in it's own housing. It could be the impeller broken or not turning or a blockage in part of the cooling circuit (salt very often).
