Water polishing

I've heard of fuel polishers but never water polishers.I already have a filter on my galley cold tap, but am pondering whether a small circulating pump, filter, possibly uv light, could be installed to 'polish' the water at source so the tanks are kept sweet?

Yes I have run out of projects

What would be the best value solution, apart from do nothing, and add Miltons?

However, If like us you don't have a filter on the drink tap presumably the water tastes okay, therefore you don't have a problem.

Most of the superyachts in the Med, and many smaller vessels, have a filter installed in-line with the tank filler. Impurities are then removed before they enter the tank.
