This post has been edited for insanity/wishful thinking purposes. The weaponry described bears no resemblance to equipment real or imagined on the writer's boat. Although sometimes I wonder....

Anything carried in a public place that looks like or could be mistaken for a real gun can be treated as if it were real, and the same rules apply. If someone were frightened into believing it to be real, you could be prosecuted.
You could be legally shot by a police marksman.
