I have a full starboard water tank but no water getting through to the pump.

No problems with the forward tank.

Any ideas?

TIA

There are surely only 3 possibilities:
1/ Pipe from tank blocked
2/ There is a valve that is closed
3/ Tank is empty

Presuming there is water in it & there are no valves in system, could you not take off the inlet to the pump from that tank & try blowing through it?

Is this a new problem? if so, what did you last do to the tank?

If we empty our galley tank it can take a while after filling to get water running again, this was worse after I fitted a new whale gusher pump; I found placing it at a slight angle seems to help. But I do not have pressurised water and don't really know the associated problems that comes with pressurised systems.

Is your pump gravity fed?

Another problem I had was with the shower pump, this just stopped working after a week... the impeller was just spinning on the shaft, hard to spot as when there was no water pressure it appeared to be working fine, i.e. visually.

Just a couple of thoughts to maybe consider.
