Have a force 10, 6 gallon water heater which the electric element appears to have failed and requires replacing.
I do not have a diagram or spec so does anyone know if this is possible? and if so where I can obtain parts.
if not..... any suggestions for replacement - I've looked at Sigma 30 ltr which although plastic looks like a potential replacement, anyone got one of these if so what are they like?
Thanks

Try surecal on IoW. A couple of years ago they had elements with the American NPT thread, which is likely to be the case for a Force 10 unit. If you do go for a replacement calorifier, Surecal make them.

Might be worth your while trying Southampton Boat Show. There's a stand (can't remember the name, but could be associated with Calor Gas) just by the entrance to the Holiday Inn, selling a wide range of cookers, etc including Force 10.

It is perfectly possible to change the heater element in one of these calorifiers. I have just had a new Force 10, 6 gal calorifier fitted (as a warranty item). The new tank was incorrectly supplied with a 110v element and the elements were subsequently swapped over by the person installing it.

To buy a new calorifier just because the element has failed is just silly as they are so expensive. Just get a new element fitted... it's far easier that reinstalling a new one. Chances are that it is a standard size element available at any good plumbing merchants. (1.5kw I believe).
