I am attempting to restore this dinghy as a challenge project. Right now I am in need of some technical help concerning the drive shaft, propeller, and shaft seal assembly. It is powered by a Ducatti inboard engine. The dinghy is 94 inches in length and 44 inches in beam. Anyone got any relevant drawings or handbook please?

I believe I've been given one of these filled to the brim with rain water, you already know more than me.
I have the inboard out and it's run (about twice out of well over 100 pulls)
I presume there should be a rudder? If so mines missing, also I'm thinking the petrol tank is too rusty to use. Could we exchange photos? (Of the watabug )
Regards Peter

Hi Pete,
Not used to this format, I did a lengthy reply and I am not sure what happened to it so I will serve it up again. I will attempt to send you some pictures later. So far you have done well and with a tweek you should have a runner. I do not know where I got the info that mine is a Ducatti as I cannot locate any reference other than the engine is Type VA636/FAA11 and is No.3874921. My fuel tank is fibre glass and integrated with the hull. The rudder is a simple structure easily replicated.. I have since found a label inside the hull which reads Leisure Products (Burton on Trent) Ltd, Meadow Road, but there is not a trace of them anywhere so far. I am in need of info on the prop shaft, prop, and seal, as they have been canabalised severely and may be missing parts. My fuel tank will require major surgery as it has always leaked badly. Best regards for now.
