Further to the various points raised on the recent thread with a similar title to the above members of the forum may wish to be aware of a further point from SWMBO.
Girded up by comments from the forum I made my way to that mysterious device - the washing machine. I knew what to do - wash the oilies at 40 degrees in non bio powder! After carefully taking my ACME thunderer, light stick and reefing handle out of the pockets I loaded up and then went to the various dials. Oh no! there are several 40 degree programmes!.
After a bit of swearing I turned to the oracle who looked at the label in the oilies. Look she says " the 40 degree symbol is underlined" (under the "cup" ) . Nice I said but what does that mean? "It means an acrylic wash silly so use programme G" So I did and you may wish to do the same without showing your ignorance!
