Takes a long time to drain when plug pulled . Tried everthing including rodding out to no avail then got one of those things with a wooden handle and a rubbber cup on the end . A couple of w"nks and there was a sucking noise, a vortex formed and basin emptied in no time at all .

Must have cleared an air lock . Works every time . Recommend for similar duties and then the mind boggles /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Ah yes. A Dalek's right arm. Very useful things.

In my forward heads the drain airlocks itself, the cure is to close the sea cock, whereupon the air is miraculously replaced by water which flows straight out as soon as you re-open the sea cock.
