was out myself sat-mon.
went from keadby- grimsby hca sat morn.the river was a bit lumpy on the run down.but not too bad. very friendly place.had a great night in the club house, less than £1.40 a pint.. and they had some good entertainment on as well.
went back out onto the humber sun morning to go to spurn point.
started to blow f6+ westerly so headed for hull marina instead.
thats when over the radio i heard afew shouts for assistance..
one was for a red/white coloured yacht that was struggling with the tided and the sea conditions, another for a boat off skeggy that was taking on water.
and when we got back down to hull their was a birchwood ts37 who had humber rescue out. he had run a ground just below the humber bridge @14knts.
then the waves decided to bash him on the bottom until both his shafts were bent.
we got back in at keadby monday morning after a lumpy but good weekend.
hope every one else had a good but safe weekend......
