Warning- Honda 4 stroke BF2

Just serviced the Honda readdy for season & found the two bolts that hold the shell bearing to the transom mounting loose! The engine has done less than 12 hrs since new and in that time also seized due to a knackered gasket, Honda said i 'just' needed to buy another' (warrantee had run out as we bought it as a back up)..... Tohatsu next time!

Definitely Tohatsu. To prove a point they sailed a boat across the Atlantic with the smallest of their models the 2.5HP. No problems.

I loved my 3.5HP (same as 2.5) until some twat stole it!

I had a Honda 5 HP. For the life of me I can't think where they get their wonderful reputation from.

I have a Yamaha now and it's fab. On vibration alone, it's streets ahead.

I have a Honda lawn mower, first time out of the shed yesterday, started first pull, got all the grass cut without any drama. SWMBO was ready with a cuppa just in case though.
