Budget or top of the range waterproof - none of them float /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

First casualty of the season.
Boat back on the mooring - dinghy ride back wind (20kts+) against tide was "eventful" but kinda fun. So much so that the HH VHF decided to jump ship.
Disappeared over the side with an ominous "plunk - glub".

[/ QUOTE ] When you buy the new one you'll get one of those Aquamate water proof bags. You can hang it round your neck and it should trap enough air to make it float anyway.

Get one for the phone and one for the H/H GPS as well.

I think he'd be safer wearing a proper life jacket. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
