Just let us know when you're coming, and we can give you a quick tow from Weymouth to Newtown and back, and save you at least a week each way!! /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Well, given enough power my boat should plane, can your boat cope with both?
:)

What about putting them on the Wareham Album at the boaters gallery. Would that take too long, just a thought.

Yeah! I know its running rough, but your lucky its running at all!!

No wonder they're taking you so long!

Could you possibly compress them a bit. /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif

They are. Jpeg images are compressed via a lossy method to make then
smaller. So Zipping or winRAR'ing will make no/a very small difference.

NB they are high quality pics.

Size matters

Bloomin 'eck, Leyton, you like 'em big, eh? Photo files that is.

Can I suggest you take the originals downsize to 640X480 (big enough for web viewing) and medium JPEG compression. Should get files down to less than 100K and no noticable loss of colour depth.

I was thinking of a Santa's reindeer and sleigh type arrangement. Harness up the gang and pull your barge at light speed

Still, got a 28'er on the plane behind mine before now....it was nearly closing time

Re: Size matters

OK, I can shrink em a bit. But it wont be tonight.

If you want all at high quality I will zip em and put the whole zip up for
download

Should be able to take them down to a k or so with jpg and still have pictures that look great on screen....don't need photo quality

I use a few photo sharing sites with friends and family, and only ever need to go to big images if someone is planning on downloading to print them or use an online photo printing service, in which case we use two albums. One for printing, the other for online viewing.

BARGE, BARGE !!!!!!!!!!! HOW DARE YOU SIR, mine is a 'gentlemans motor boat'

LOL

Well, i just thought people wanted quality! but i will shrink them for
people.

Gentlemans motorboat? A barge with G&T's? /forums/images/icons/cool.gif

No problem, with the Wareham fleet and some big ropes, we'll get it up on the plane somehow

Re The Brummy Navy

That term was your description, Leyton. I don't have original enough thoughts to think of that!

either that, or me & steve can carry 2 of your boats on our Davits when
you run out of petrol after 20 mins of running. LOL

Leyton, half your links don't work, well the first one of the boats anyway.

Yeah! I know its running rough, but your lucky its running at all!!

The server site is having an upgrade at the moment so some outage can occur.
(or so i am told)

I did try the HTLM before i posted it, so can you try again later.
NB i am making the images smaller at the moment so i wont change anything
for the next 2-3 days.
