Good luck. Coukd you get it welded up?
I crewed on a boat with a Vire 6 all through my teenage years. It taught me a lot….
about how completely and utterly unreliable boat engines can be.
To be fair, the owner eventually discovered it had a flaw in the casting and the spark plug was overheating. (A change in spec of spark plug and it was sorted.). I’d also learned something about how spark plugs have temperature ratings.

No, the cylinder needs sleeving - so hope someone has a reasonable one under a bench !!
