I've owned my San Remo for three years and am generally pleased - the layout is great. However, I would love to compare notes and swap ideas with other owners - past or present. I'd be happy to host a dedicated website if there was enough interest.
One issue I have, for instance, is that the boat doesn't sit right in the water and I'd like to know if other owners have this problem - it lists to port with a bias towards the front. This can be annoying because after heavy rain, water collects on the cockpit floor just by the cabin hatch. It takes two heavy people standing on the starboard of the bathing platform to even it up.
Also, I'm considering fitting Step Drive gearboxes which double the prop speeds at low revs and claim to get the boat on the plane much faster. Has anyone tried these?
