I am playing with a mk 3a walkers log I got from ?bay . The line is frayed where it goes in the veiney bit ...how do you get it apart...before I break it. ?

If a knot isn't visible some bit must unscrew ?
As I have never had one my advice may be incorrect .......

The pointy bit of the veiney bit unscrews so you can cut the old knot off and tie a new one.

That is correct but if you read the instructions you will discover the rotator nose cone has a LEFT HANDED thread
