We, a Dutch couple in our late twenties, are looking for a yacht, sail boat, or anything else that goes to the Andaman islands or mainland India over sea. After six months of traveling through Russia, Mongolia and China using only public transport, we are trying to continue our trip without flying.
If you are going to India or the Andaman islands by boat, please contact us! We have strong stomachs, little luggage and are willing to share costs. Of course, we can help with any work aboard. We can cook your meals, take care of your children, or use our skills as professional photographer (Edwin, male, 25) / social worker (Maaike, female, 28). We don't have any sea experience, but we are very enthusiastic and eager to learn! We don't smoke, but we don't mind if you do.
We have visa for India and can leave any day. At the moment we are in Phuket, Thailand, but we are willing to travel to your location within Thailand. We are hoping to find a boat as soon as possible, but can wait until half of January if necessary.
Although we prefer to go directly to India (or the Andaman islands, from where we can take a ferry to mainland India), we would be willing to consider going to Bangladesh or Sri Lanka.
