to be fair looks like the cruiser should have gone out first ,judging by the photo he was in front, and if so had nowhere else to go, guess it was race to the pub time.
lucky it was only minor damage, a few red faces and choice words , i expect the 60 odd boaters waiting to go through wern't too impressed,
was anyone from the forum there to give a first hand account,

I've seen this nearly happen so many times, twice only last weekend. Unfortunately a NB and a hire cruiser it was going to end in tears. Friendly NB's frequently wave me out the lock first, thinking they are going to hold me up, but for some reason they fail to realise i'm a foot wider than the gap!
