Hi all, here is somebody who has a wallas dieslel boat stove. Blower, injector, ingniter and burner are all working.

But the thing is totally full of sooth, as a result , the diesel does not completely burn, unburned diesel also ran out of the stove.

The make seems to be a Wallas but there is also a reference to:"EXTEC and a glasfeld kocher (meaning glas top stove)

Anybody have any idea what goes wrong, all indications are, that the burner does not get sufficient air.

Any help would be welcome.

Thank you

Knock yourself out here

Check boat products at the top of the page and you will find installation instructions as well.

Hi Thanks for the effort. It seems to be a mod 95, but what difference oes it make?

All maintenance instructions are identica for all diesel models, say after 500 inspection and cleaning of burner by supplier, thereafter cleaning of burner by owner or supplier as directed by the supplier.

Does not help much, does it? Or have I missed something?

thanks

Don't think so. As you know it is difficult to diagnose a problem without actually seeing the buggered bit but from what you say are the symptoms I would look at the air intake for blockages, burner chamber for coking up and the injector nozzle for a partial blockage also the exhaust for any damage such as crushing as that would tend to reduce the air flow through the combustion chamber.

Apart from that I am lost /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
