Does anyone know where I could get a Wallas heater repaired.
I know that Kuranda marine can do this work but they charge to look at it. I know that its got some seawater damage internally so its more than just servicing that's required and I can very easily imagine that it will be uneconomical to repair. But on the other hand they are about £850 new so its worth a last try before I abandon it.:)

Anybody worth their salt will charge to strip and diagnose, time is money, but the thing about using Kuranda is they will strip and diagnose it quickly and accurately as they have vast experience, they may even agree to waive the charge if you do have to buy a new one.

Why don't you take it apart to see if you can see the problem? Dismantling is very simple, and there's not much inside that can wrong, two small motors and a PCB plus the burner. Probably all available from Kuranda.
I obtained a new blower motor from them for my 1800, by return post when the original became noisy.

Thanks for the reply. I've taken it apart and its quite clear what the major fault is. What I really need to know is price and availability of spares to make a rough estimate of costs to see if repair is a viable option. I did contact Kuranda some time ago and they were obviously a very positive company but I think I caught them at a particularly busy time and I didn't follow it up. Time to try them again I think.

Anybody know of an exploded parts diagram then at least I would have some relevant vocabulary.

At least I know where not to go. Progress I suppose.

Problem with Wallas manuals is that unlike the main players they are jelously guarded, but I can not see why you should not have a parts list if you PM me I can probably email you a PDF
