Walker Bay RID tube replacement - alternative ?

Is there a 'maker' of this tube to avoid me 'shelling' out for the Walker Bay tube ?

Not to my knowledge. I used to have a Walker Bay which I found to be very unstable. The proprietary tube was a ridiculous price so I fitted it with those round sectioned dinghy buoyancy bags attached to the outside of the gunnels two either side. They were roughly the same section as the WB tube and worked fine.

What is the tube diameter? Layflat hose is relatively cheap and available in 10", possibly bigger.

There are companies who re tube RIBS.

It isn't a cheap operation!
